EVISU M-500 Collector's Edition Hotei, Komainu & Kamon Selvedge Jeans
A second chapter in the M-500 legend. Where the first edition burned with fire, this one gleams with gold. The EVISU M-500 Hotei Edition channels Japan's most auspicious iconography -- the God of Fortune, the Guardian Lion-Dog, and the sacred Kamon -- rendered in museum-grade embroidery on raw selvedge denim.
- Edition: M-500 Collector's Edition -- individually numbered paper hang tag at waistband
- Fabric: Raw deep indigo selvedge denim -- unwashed, structured, built to develop a lifetime patina; selvedge ID visible at cuff roll
- Fit: Slim tapered -- clean through the thigh, tapered to the ankle, selvedge cuff roll at hem
- Closure: Zip fly with silver-tone button
- Hardware: Silver-tone button and rivets; gold-yellow contrast stitching throughout (front and back)
- Back -- M panel (full back): Oversized M-seagull arch with layered geometric fill -- diamond lattice, fan (sensu) motifs, wave and cloud contour patterns; gold-cream on left arch graduating to orange-red on right arch, combining jacquard-style ground with embroidery overlay
- Back -- Left upper (outside M arch): Red vertical fortune placard (red ground, black kanji) + laughing Hotei (God of Fortune) embroidery -- white round face, gold-white robe, holding treasure bag, standing on white auspicious clouds; fine cartoon-style thread work
- Back -- Left lower (outside M arch): Gold Komainu (guardian lion-dog) embroidery -- gold metallic thread, powerful stance, rising from white crashing wave motifs
- Back -- Right lower (outside M arch): Red EVISU trident kamon circular badge surrounded by scattered gold coins (zeni) -- wealth and brand identity fused in a single composition
